Becky Jane: Reading Women FC/ England U23’s
Currently playing for Reading Women in The FA Womens Super League 2, which is the second highest league in the country. Previously played for Fulham COE from a young age, moving to Chelsea at the age of 15. Played for the reserve team winning the treble in 08/09, and progressing into the Chelsea Ladies first team for both 08/09 & 09/10 seasons (in the premier league top division), playing in two FA cup semi finals.
In 2011 played in the first ever womens super league game, and continued to play for Chelsea in FA WSL for 2011 season. Moved to Reading Women, where we were Southern premier champions in 2012/2013. Reading were then given super league 2 status, playing in 2014 in The FA Womens Super League 2, finishing 3rd.
Represented England U15’s, U17’s, U19’s, U20’s & currently an U23 international. Have played in U17 European Championship Finals, and U17 Womens world cup in New Zealand, scoring in the semi final against North Korea the eventual winners. Played in U19 European Championship finals, losing to France in the final, and U20 Womens world cup in Germany. Recently played against Poland for U23’s winning 3-2 and scoring one.
Recently graduated with a 1st class sport science degree, and now working for West Berkshire Council getting children more active. Also coach for Reading, and currently manager of the girls u10’s team.
