Sara Smith
Personal trainer specialising in Ante and postnatal and Powerlifting
Originally a client of EBW, Sara started as part of the team in August 2014. Having trained for many years, she decided to attain her personal training and nutrition qualifications; she constantly looks to improve her knowledge and education and, as such, has attended many other courses and seminars on Nutrition, Strength and Conditioning, Strongman, Powerlifting and Functional Performance.
Since joining the EBW team, Sara had a baby girl in 2015 and kept her passion for training throughout her pregnancy. She wanted to continue to train safely and keep healthy both during and after her pregnancy, so she developed her knowledge to do this and further qualified as an Ante and Postnatal Coach.
Sara has an enthusiasm for all sports, health and fitness and has taken part in a wide range of fitness challenges from running half marathons and endurance races, as well as early on finding a passion for all things Strongwoman. Sara has competed in several competitions, winning "Basingstoke's Strongest Novice 2014" and placing 2nd in "Britain's Natural strongest Female U63kgs, 2014", placing 2nd in the South Midlands Open Powerlifting Championship, and most recently taking on a new challenge and taking to the platform to compete in Olympic Weightlifting.
Due to Sara’s experience, knowledge and passion for fitness, she can fully adapt and vary her classes and training to suit clients at all levels of ability, from wanting to compete in competition to wanting to improve on body shape, health and fitness.
